Praying Through The Motions

Long before I took aim and notice,
Control seemed to reject me.
Leaving my hands to a dust storm,
Where they would find only cactus and vermin.
Once in sky blue moon, with a hint of cosmos,
An Oasis would find weary eyes.
There would be the particular tale,
Later entitled, "Too Good to be True."

A bitter stumble on my tired and broken feet,
Beneath the shadow of the valley of bad luck,
Where evil was all I ever found.
Where only two hands guided my own...
Here was a crack in the dust bowl,
Where piece of Heaven laid me to bits of rest.
Though I was never wicked, my blood was,
And therefore until drained,
then true rest was to evade my grasp

God is...God is…
The almighty, the Father, our Lord, our Shepard, our guide, powerful, gracious, forgiving, loving, wonderful, miraculous, the truth, the salvation, the Creator, the Holy Spirit, Jesus Crist,
Absolutely real.
God will not abandon you.
God will not ignore you.
God will not stop loving you,
Even if you continue to sin.
God has loved you,
God will love you,
God is loving you,
He will never let you go.
Were you tempted by the devil?
Did demons come to bring you misfortune?
I am sure,
God will save you.
Do not be afraid, alone.
Do not be sad, hopeless.
Open up to your God,
He will wipe the tears from your eye and
Hug you close.
Love you unconditionally.
He will be more than a trillion times as great as your earthly father.
Open up to your God!

Great dark feelings that brought me to tears at times.
I have been blind, lost,
Lost without my shepherd to guide me.

Why stop in the place where I know I am only to be devoured?
As dark & cold as this wretched place, I would never accept as my grave.

There is no path on a unpaved road of improvisation. I follow the crumbs of ancient bread, onwards past growling fiends and the eyes of evil.

I bare the marks of one who has found the morbid experiences of existence. Healing is but a formality that I tend to allow, yet not always.

The cycles are made to run their age old courses, with constant and spontaneous tests to accompany my walk to a worthy Shepherd, whose face I am forbidden to see.

To feel God's powerful love...To feel God’s love...

God is my LORD. He will be for eternity. When I felt sad and needed cheering up, I would pray to him and I would know he is listening. Just the other day I felt tempted by the devil and I am so thankful I have realized it. I was scared and confused, I felt like a sheep strayed from the herd. My parents would not let me go to church and I felt like I was slowly drifting away.
But my prayers were not left unheard. I feel like God has taken me back into his hand again, (although he really has never dropped me.) It is a feeling that I cannot experience from any physical substance. God is holy, he is invisible, I cannot touch him, but I feel closer to him than anyone else I can see, feel or touch. I am truly grateful that he has taken me into his care. I am grateful I met people God has planned for me to meet, who has guided me slowly to the ways of the church. It is a miracle. My thanks for the Lord will be for eternity.

Mothers Day comes around so soon,

Each day we see people that we care for pass on,
But with us their life energy will always be drawn.
A kindred spirit, a smiling soul,
The joy of these angels is cast to us all.
In the darkness, when loved ones seem far away,
With us their hearts are here to remain.
A blessing for you, and your lost one too;
Remember that her spirit is still residing next to you.
